1. What are the benefits of the MyTime Electricity Program?

The benefits of MyTime include:

*MyTime rates may change once every 6 months on May 1 and November 1.
† The Global Adjustment is already included in your rate. It will appear as a separate line item on your bill. You will also be responsible for regulated delivery, regulatory, debt retirement, and other costs billed by your Utility.

2. How does this offer affect/benefit me if I’m not on Time-of-Use (TOU) with the utility yet?

Time-of-Use is the long term plan for all Ontario electricity consumers, and the rollout is on the way. By enrolling now, you’ll never have to worry about Time-of-Use pricing and won’t be susceptible to peak prices.

3. What is the Global Adjustment?

The Global Adjustment is a charge or credit that accounts for the difference between the market price of electricity and rates paid to regulated and contracted generators. The Global Adjustment is already factored into your utility rate and is not disclosed as a separate item on your bill. When you enrol into the MyTime program, the Global Adjustment will be split out as a separate line item on your bill; you do not need to worry as your Agreement Price is inclusive of the Global Adjustment.

4. How can I opt in for Just Energy’s green products?

After you have successfully enrolled in our MyTime program through our online portal, you can contact our Customer Service Department to learn more about offsetting all or some of the pollution caused by your household’s energy consumption by subscribing to one of our green energy options.

5. How can I sign up for the MyTime Program?

We have developed an online enrolment process designed to be quick and easy. Simply click here to complete the online enrolment process. No need for written signatures or additional paperwork.

6. What if I change my mind?

As per our standard agreements, you have 30 days after receipt of your first bill to change your mind without penalty. After this period, Just Energy’s standard cancellation terms and potential Exit Fees will apply.

7. What are the renewal terms?

Shortly before your current contract matures (5 years from the Start Date), you will have the opportunity to renew your contract at whatever rate Just Energy is offering at the time. We will provide you notice when your term is coming to an end along with your renewal options.

8. How long after I sign up can I expect Just Energy’s MyTime product to take effect?

It typically takes one to two billing cycles for Just Energy’s program to begin. You will know that your MyTime program has started when you see Just Energy’s name listed as the supplier on your electricity bill.

9. Who can I speak with if I have questions or concerns with my service?

If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact Just Energy’s outstanding Customer Service Department at 1-866-587-8674. They are open from 9 am to 7 pm Monday to Friday and from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturdays and closed Sundays.
